The My Ramen Company was founded by snowboard, photography, food and coder friends who wanted to create a healthy ramen to share with the world.

Hiroaki Sakata - Director of Product Development

Hiroaki is a leading innovator in the Japan food scene with his culinary endeavors earning awards and accolades, including Michelin Bib Gourmand designation for his Tokyo ramen shop, Menya Shichisai. He credits the rich history of Japan's food culture, and it's vast ingredients for the wealth of knowledge it provides. “Since childhood my life concept has always been service minded. I strive to serve the ideals and aesthetics of Japanese culinary arts across borders and boundaries with pride.”

Tetsuro Masunaga - Representative Director / CEO

It seems like Tetsuro was born with entrepreneurship in his blood. From managing a language school in 2001, he has since gone on to run multiple companies. Among them is DSP, which in 2011 had created the most advanced online-ad technology in the world, “Demand-Side Platform”. With DSP, Tetsuro was also involved in the successful 2020 Tokyo Olympics bid. Aside from MyRamen, Tetsuro is currently also focused on introducing authentic Japanese culture to the UAE.

Dice Maruyama - Executive Director

Dice first came to prominence as a world-class photographer in the snowboard industry. After a decade of living in Canada, Dice resettled in Tokyo and launched a marketing solution company specialized in assisting foreign companies navigate, and succeed in the Japanese market. He was a pescatarian for a long time until he introduced gibier food into his diet. Influenced by his natural food loving and vegetarian friends back in North America, Dice is motivated to introduce MyRamen to the world.

Ken Achenbach - Global Marketing Director

Ken is widely known as the father of Canadian snowboarding. In 1980 he opened the first exclusive snowboard shop in the world. Then invented the twintip snowboard, baseless bindings and the summer snowboard/ski/MTB camp. The Camp of Champions in 1989 over 28 years, more than 20,000 kids visited Whistler and spent spectacular weeks with him. One of the original snowboard photographers and filmmakers he make Pro Standard GoPro accessories to spread photo stoke. Why is Ken in MyRamen? Well, when a man with boundless creativity, one who’s mastered how to get people stoked, is stoked on your ramen, MyRamen had to add him to the team!
